The Samvera Connect 2025 Program Committee invites proposals for hands-on workshops to be held during the pre-conference day on Monday, October 20, 2025, in Mexico City.

Workshops are a vital part of Samvera Connect, offering participants the opportunity to develop new skills, explore technologies in depth, and collaborate on practical challenges with guidance from experienced peers.

We encourage proposals that support active learning and skill-building across a wide range of topics, including (but not limited to):
  • Using and deploying Samvera technologies
  • Development workflows and tools
  • Metadata management
  • UX/UI testing
  • DevOps and infrastructure automation
  • Accessibility best practices
  • Integration with other systems and platforms
Workshops should be designed with interactive, hands-on activities, and can be geared toward any level of experience—beginners, intermediate users, or advanced practitioners. Collaborative or team-led workshops are also welcome.

Available workshop durations:
  • 90 minutes
  • 3 hours
  • 6 hours (full day)
Submission deadline: June 26th, 2025. A deadline extension is not expected for this call for workshops.

Join us in helping to build a strong, skilled Samvera community. We look forward to your ideas for engaging, practical workshops!
