Hello everyone. My name is Bertie Wooles I am the Junior Ruby developer at Ubiquity press working on the Advancing Hyku project and our other repositories. Internally we have been using Weblate to translate various parts of our codebase. In the interests of improving Hyku we are offering the community the use of this platform to improve the translations and accessibility of Hyku. I have started up a translations project with the 6 languages already found in Hyku (French, Spanish, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Simplified Chinese). If anyone has any interest in contributing to this project please slack me with your email address or send me an email and I will send you an invite. Also if you have any desire to translate Hyku into any other language also please let me know and I will start a translation for you. Please spread this offer around to anyone who maybe interested in taking part in this project, it is open to the whole community. Thank you

Thank you, Bertie! This sounds fantastic.

We discussed this in the Samvera Tech call today, and are planning to raise the issue to the Hyrax Interest Group.

It would be exciting to use this tooling to improve the current translation process!
