Dear Samvera community:

 

I am pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2024 Samvera Midwest Regional Meeting. The meeting will take place in Indianapolis on September 25-26, 2024, and is  sponsored by Indiana University and the Private Academic Library Network of Indiana (PALNI)

 

Who should attend?

This meeting is open to Samvera community members and users (including Hyku, Hyrax, and Avalon users) in the Midwest and beyond: repository managers, developers, librarians, archivists, administrators and others. Those who are not yet using Samvera technologies but are interested in learning more about them are also welcome to attend!

 

This is a free event, but registration is required. The registration form, along with more information on the event schedule and travel logistics, may be found at: https://samvera.atlassian.net/wiki/x/AgDKlg 

 

Share Your Experience

We also invite attendees to give a presentation as part of the “Share Fair” planned for the first afternoon of the event. This will be a series of 5-10 minute informal show-and-tell presentations from participants about their repositories, including a discussion of what’s working well and what challenges you have encountered. These challenges will be collected as ideas to explore in unconference sessions on the second day of the event.

The deadline for both registration and Share Fair proposals is Friday, August 23.
