IIIF Travel Scholarship

Hello colleagues,
The IIIF Consortium is pleased to announce two travel scholarships to attend the 2026 IIIF Annual Conference in the Netherlands. The scholarship will provide up to €2,000 in travel funds to recipients with the goal of fostering a conference environment that reflects the diversity of the wider IIIF Community. As such, preference will be given to applicants who meet the following criteria:
Candidates from under-represented groups in the community (including but not limited to: women, people of color, LGBTQ+, ability/disability, non-binary gender identities, etc., as well as members of underrepresented and/or marginalized groups that don’t fit into the categories listed above)1
Attendees from under-represented countries and geographic regions, particularly the Global South
Attendees from new IIIF-implementing institutions and projects
Candidates who will present a poster or lightning talk (this does not need to follow the thematic requirements of the Call for Proposals - ideas in development, why IIIF would be useful or impactful to your research/institution, works in progress, and questions or aspirations around IIIF are encouraged)
