Save the Date - Samvera Regional Meetings in the US and UK

This year the Samvera Community will hold three regional meetings in the US and one in the UK. These regional meetings are taking the place of our usual, single Samvera Connect Conference for 2024. We will have our next Samvera Connect conference in October 2025 in Mexico City.

All regional meetings are free to attend and are open to everyone, regardless of location. All meetings will be in person only, with a virtual Samvera Summit in early December for discussion and sharing about regional meeting activities. 

The meetings are still being planned by their respective planning committees but are expected to include informal sharing of local implementations, unconference time for informal breakout discussions, and community sprint time for developers to work together in person. There is still time to join a group for your preferred meeting and help to shape the schedule.

Save the date for any of the following meetings that would be convenient to you:

Samvera Midwest Regional Meeting
September 25th-26th, 2024 in Indianapolis, IN
Hosted by Indiana University, Indianapolis University Library

Samvera West Coast Regional Meeting 
October 9th-10th, 2024 in Portland, Oregon
Hosted by Oregon State University
Registration details coming soon
October 14th-15th, 2024 in Princeton, New Jersey (ahead of DevOps4Lib October 16-17, and Blacklight Summit October 18th, at the same venue)
Hosted by Princeton University Library

Samvera Europe Meeting
Date TBD, likely end of October, 2024
Hosted in the United Kingdom
