This meeting will include:
  • a demonstration of guided import, a much easier way to bring works into Hyku in bulk (hand-holding, if you will), which will be coming in a future release. This will be the first item on the agenda.
  • a discussion of new functionality which Notch8 will be starting: the ability to create aliases, permalinks and human-readable URLs for works. This is functionality being driven by a library in the PALS consortium and they are asking for community input. This will be the last item on the agenda.
FYI - we expect both of these to be ported to Hyrax.

Because we will have much to discuss, we will most likely not get to project updates. I would still love to see everyone provide an update on the April 30th notes, as well as any questions or concerns you have, to be sure the community is moving forward and supporting those of you who need help.
