Dear friends,

There was a theft incident at home in Korea. The details are below. Hope you will find it informative and useful.
Nothing to panic. Just  keep your  cool and  take care of luxury stuff, specially woman take care of jewelery and other  small and expensive things  :) thats it ..

It was Friday night 13th of Feb 2009, I was really tired after working for more than 14hr at Samsung SW labs. There was nothing important than to take rest at that moment. With only only one aim of  taking rest I headed towards my apartment, which is located in a sober neighborhood of Yougton area of Suwon Ci. (100 series)
Company bus reached stop near my apartment at around 10.30 PM, meanwhile I received a call from my home, on the way to my home I remembered that I promised a friend that I will her my document to get my International license done. As it was very late, I started typing a text message for her saying that I will give the docs next day morning. I reached my apartment and flat.

When I reached my apartment, to my surprise my main door was little bent. Initially i thought someone would have tried to open it or may be something else. Then I was about use my key to open the door got an idea to check  the door again. When I tried to just open it I came to know it is already open. I went inside and gave a looks at the household things and found almost everything  is there but all my drawers are open.

I called one of my Korean friend and GHD (Global Help Desk). My friend came within 10 minutes and he called police. When police arrived we noticed that all my neighbor's doors are also open. Unfortunately there was no one at that time. My neighbors  came only next day when apartment management called them about the situation.

I lost $300 and 400 + Indian rupees (not a big amount). My neighbors lost some valuable jewelery and other stuff.

Afterward CIS came investigation is still going on...

I am a bachelor  and dont have any more than a computer and cloths which are my own rest is given by company. But most of you live with families and I am worried about security of the family.

This not the first case here. I came to know that this third or fourth case within this month.
