Special Class on May 10th Thursday - open to both groups (group 2 are requested to RSVP)

Dear Bhashavarga students

We have a special guest for our Thursday May 10th class. Students from Shobha Bhagini's class are also welcome to join this class (please RSVP)

Sri Raghunatha Madhava Kulkarni has graciously agreed to conduct the class on that day. He is currently visiting from India and originally hails from Bijapur Karnataka and a resident of Mubai since 1967. 

Sri Raghunatha Kulkarni is fond of reading religious material, Hindustani classical music and has a good knowledge of Kannada, Sanskrit, Marati, Hindi and English. 

Literary works published / pursued by  Sri Raghunatha Kulakarni 

 

• Shreemadbhagatgeethe, (samashloki) translation to Kannada in the sloka form.
• Biography of Guruji Golvalkar a marati novel “Idam namama” to “Poornahuti" in Kannada. 
• Kabir Das dohes (dwipadis) translations to Kannada 
• Manache Slokas, translations to Kannada (work of Sri Ramadas Swamy a great marati saint  205 verses)
• Katopanishad, translations to Kannada
• Isavasya Upanishad, translations to Kannada

 His wife Smt Geetha is also interested in literature and very supportive to him. Their daughters are Prajna, Priya and Prutha.

We may have to change our May 10th Special class to a different day. Very likely, this may get postponed to another date.  If this gets postponed for another date then we will have usual class for our group.
