Some Sanskrit words in superlative.
Also can be given in three degrees positive, comparative and superlative as in English like:
 Good - better - best
 साधुः - साधीयान् - साधिष्ठः}
            साधुतरः - साधुतमः}

द्राघिष्ठ - longest
दीर्घः - द्राघीयान् - द्राघिष्ठः}
          दीर्घतरः - दीर्घतमः}
In the same manner, the following maybe rewritten:

ह्रसिष्ठ - shortest positive ह्रस्वः
दविष्ठ - remotest "          दूरः
नेदिष्ठ - nearest        ".     अन्तिकः
प्रथिष्ठ - widest.         ".      पृथुः
अणिष्ठ - minutest      ".      अणुः
गरिष्ठ - heaviest        "        गुरुः
लघिष्ठ - lightest.       "        लघुः
पीविष्ठ - fattest          "       पीवा
तनिष्ठ  - slimmest     "        तनुः
PS: note that 'istha' in Sanskrit is 'est' in English.

Note:  ईयस् is for comparative degree. For Comparative and Superlative degrees तर and तम suffixes are also used. I have given some illustrations for example. All can be derived similarly. If I find time, I shall complete the table. It's very interesting and informative.

वरीयान् वरिष्ठः
गरीयान् गरिष्ठः

दवीयान् दविष्ठः
पटीयान् पटिष्ठः
श्रेयान् श्रेष्ठः    } Both these can be  from      ज्यायान् ज्येष्ठः } प्रशस्यः and वृद्धः. वृद्धः can be
  converted into comparative and superlative as वर्षीयान् वर्षिष्ठः; वृद्धतरः, वृद्धतं

प्रेयान् प्रेष्ठः
भूयान् भूयिष्ठः
लघीयान् लघिष्ठः
बलीयान् बलिष्ठः

This can be also यवीयान् यविष्ठः
both derived from युवा and अल्पः .
अल्पः can be derived also as अल्पीयान् अल्पिष्ठः also.
