As the legend goes, Gansha agreed to work as a scribe for Vyasa when writing Mahabharata, on condition that he will not pause even for a moment. Vyasa agreed with a counter-condition that Ganesha would not write anything which he did not understand! To which, Ganesha agreed.
Vyasa is supposed to have composed over 3,000 verses during the dictation of the 100,000 verses which would make Ganesha pause to think and the pause gave Vyasa some time to compose the additions.
Is someone aware of any collection of these "kUTa" verses (puzzling questions) in Mahabharata?
