कुलदैवतमस्माकं कोदण्डशरमण्डितम्।
इष्टदैअतमस्माकं इक्ष्वाकुकुलदैवतम्ं॥
The above verse is recited minimum 12 times before commencing Sundarakanda Parayanam of SRIMAD VALMKI RAMAYANAM.
This has been recommended by LATE BRAHMASRI ANANTHARAMA DIKSHITAR IN HIS BOOK.
I request the source of this verse in puranas or samhita .Where is this verse is found?

The above verse is recited minimum 12 times before commencing Sundarakanda Parayanam of SRIMAD VALMKI RAMAYANAM.
WHY/
In Vaishnava samruthaayam a sloka is repeated only once if at all.

I do not know much about Vaishnava Sampradayam.
But Late Sri. Sengalipuram Anantarama Dikshitar is a scholar. He had specifically mentioned about reciting.this shlokam 12 times before commencing Sundarakanda Parayanam.
Please give me the source from which this verse is taken.
