शीताः कौपीरप आनीय

Can you help me with the meaning of शीताः कौपीरप occurring in the following sentence:

संजातानुकम्पा मारतोरणी तं तथाविधं क्लिष्टं दृष्ट्वा शीताः कौपीरप आनीय, “अनेन मे धर्मो भविष्यति” इति विचारेण पात्रे कृतं जलं तस्मै पातुं ददौ।

This is from a Sanskrit translation of a spanish novel named Don Quixote by two Kashmiri pandits.
