Need help with कृ धातु

I need help on 2 issues with कृ धातु on the basis of the conjugations shown in ashtadhyayi.com.

कृ धातु is listed both in 5th गण and 8th गण. Both are अनिट्. However, when I went through the conjugations for लृट् लकार, the form for the is given as करिष्यति for both गणs suggesting that the धातु is सेट्. Please help to understand whether the इडागम used is a mistake.

Secondly, the सनन्त form is चिकीर्षति. I am unable to find the sutra for the use of ई after क्. 

Can someone help on these two issues please.

All एकाच् - ऋकारान्त dhatus are अनिट् except वृङ् & वृञ्.
From 7.2.70, ऋद्धनोः स्ये, all the ऋकारान्त dhatus and हन् dhatu become सेट् when स्य pratyaya is suffixed.  

For सन्नन्त form, 

कृ + सन्

कॄ + स (6.4.16 अज्झनगमां सनि)

किर् + स (7.1.100 ॠत इद्धातोः)

कीर् + स (7.2.77 हलि च)

कीर् कीर् + स => की कीर् + स => कि कीर् + स => चि कीर् + स (द्वित्व by  6.1.9 सन्यङोः and then हलादिः शेषः, ह्रस्वः, कुहोश्चुः . All of these sAmAnya-abhyAsakArya sutras are in 7.4.59-67)

चि कीर् + ष (8.3.59आदेशप्रत्यययोः)

चिकीर्ष + तिप् = चिकीर्षति

3.4.115 लृट् च  this gives आर्धधातुक संज्ञा to लृट् , therefore करिष्यति।

7.4.79 सन्यतः makes च into चि

6.4.16अज्झनगमां सनि makes क into की

and U have चिकी

rest is usual for final form चिकीर्षति

This is my limited understanding. Needs आप्त to confirm.

Thank you Saroja Bhagini. 3.4.115 says लिट् च and not लृट् च. Therefore this sutra doesn't help in solving my problem. 

My question is when कृ धातु is stated to be अनिट्, then why it takes इडागम in लृट् लकार? Which is the relevant sutra for this?

As regards the sutra 6.4.16 it says that अजन्त अङ्ग will take दीर्घ when सन् follows. Now for कृ धातु + सन्, I can derive upto चि कृ + स. The next step should be चि कर् (1.1.51) and if इडागम is to be added then the अङ्ग will be चि करि. Now by application of 6.4.16 it would become चि करी + ष (स will become ष when it follows इडागम). So the form will be चिकरीष and not चिकीर्ष. I know I am missing some steps  but the solution still eludes me. Can you please help further.
