What is the ascharyam in this world.

In the Yaksha Prasna of Mahabharata, Yaksha asks

Dharmaputra what is the ascharya (wonder) in this

world.  He replies -

dine dine hi bhootaani pravisanti yamaalayam.

seshaasthaavaramicchanti kimaascharyamatah param.

 

(Every day living beings enter the abode of Yama.

Others (who are still alive) want to be permanent  

residents of this earth. Is there any other wonder?

I have learnt the first line of this answer given by Dharmaraja Yudhishthishthara to the Yaksha as follows:

Ahanyahani bhootani, gachhanteeha yamalayamm Will scholars kindly clarify, which version is original?

Both are correct grammatically as well as in the meaning.

This is called pathabheda in Sanskrit literature.
