Friends,
Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream has been elegantly adapted/ translated into Sanskrit as वासन्तिकस्वप्नम्  and published in 1892. The text is available here:
The first two lines pose great difficulty for me with respect to अन्वय and meaning.
Could any of our learned members kindly help?

If you are able to find many Sanskrit plays, etc that must have been adapted for Sanskrit learners in the last couple of centuries, that would be great.

I read classical works, plays mainly, with word for word English or Hindi or Sanskrit translation. Even there, sometimes I do not struggle too much with the verses with which the conversations are interspersed. There are many plays with such translations available in the internet archive.
