The deer are used for yajña insofar as the skin of dead deer is used.

The meaning given out in the picture only says "suitable for a sacrifice", and not that they were actually "meant for a sacrifice". I guess the adjective is referring to the quality of the deers that were killed, than their purpose at that time.

Bizzare definition. I could not find such in any of the many dictionaries with me. I caution people against trusting this source for sanskrit word meanings.
