[Samskrita] -two stray verses

Dear all,
I learnt the following verse from an elderly scholar of my village during my boyhood:
पथ्ये सति गदार्तस्य किमौषदिनिषेवणैः ।
पथ्येऽसति गदार्तस्य किमौषधिनिषेवणैः ॥
Where is the need for medicines if one is following strict diet? Of what avail is any medicine if one does not adhere to his diet?

I learnt the following from my Sanskrit teacher:
अनधीते महाभाष्ये व्यर्था सा पदमञ्जरी ।
अधीते तु महाभाष्ये व्यर्था सा पदमञ्जरी ॥
If one has studied Mahabhashya, there is no need to study Padamanjari. If one has not studied Mahabhashya there is no use of studying Padamanjari. (An acerbic comment indeed!)

I would be obliged if any of you could identify the sources of these verses. They do not seem to be included in सुभाषितरत्नभाण्डागारम् .

I know another version of this verse, though I too am unaware if it
has an identifiable source. Possibly, it is one of those thousands of
'orphan' verses whose parentage is lost.

पथ्ये सति गदार्तस्य भेषजग्रहणेन किम्।
पथ्येऽसति गदार्तस्य भेषजग्रहणेन किम्॥

In a slightly different direction, the following is an आर्या, and
therefore possibly of Moropant, which, like the भेषज verse, is a
Marathi example of संपूर्ण यमक. It is less poetry and more exhibition
of mastery over vocabulary and one indeed has to perform verbal
acrobatics to decipher it. This is how it goes:

अनलसमीहित साधी राया वारा महीवरा कामा।
अनलस मीहि तसा धीरा यावा रामही वराका मा॥

अन्वय - महीवरा राया, (जसा) वारा अनल-समीहित साधी, तसा (हे) धीरा, अनलस
मीहि कामा यावा. (तदनंतर) रामहि (आणि) वराका मा (कामा येतील).

अर्थ - O King, the best in the world, just as the wind aids the fire,
so, O brave one, I shall be untiring and will help you. (After that,
it will but follow) that Balaraama and poor Laxmi will do likewise.

Thnaks. The fact that two different persons of different origin have come
across the same verse albeit in different versions proves the antiquity and
popularity of the verse.
The second verse might be in a some later work of grammar.
It is indeed surprising that Marathi is also amenable to constructing such
verses. I have read that there are such verses, belonging to Chitrakavya
category, even in Kannada although I have not read them myself.

Yet one more verse in the same category, origin unknown. It cannot be
more that 300 or 400 years old as it refers to tobacco, introduced by
the Portuguese into India from South America.

तमाखुपत्रं राजेन्द्र भज माऽऽज्ञानदायकम्।
तमाखुपत्रं राजेन्द्र भज माज्ञानदायकम्॥

अन्वय - तमाखुपत्रं राजेन्द्र भज मा अज्ञानदायकम्। तं आखुपत्रं राजेन्द्र
भज मा-ज्ञानदायकम्॥

O King, do not be an addict for tobacco leaf as it leads to
ignorance. O King, worship the One whose carrier is the mouse and who
bestows prosperity and knowledge.
