Hare Kṛṣṇa!

I scanned  a lot of Sanskrit studying books. Now I have normal internet so I decided to share this collection.

I'll try to continue uploading books. Now it is my first portion.

If You find these books useful for You, You can say thanks to Kṛṣṇa who inspired me from the heart to scan those books.

Some of the books that you uploaded are Sanskrit Bharati's work protected by copyright
These books are revenue source for them, this is not a good practice and as a group must not be encouraged
If something is already in the free domain and want to bring it to groups attention that's fine or if an old relic is available and want to share with group that's a different story but contemperory works should not be made available for free
That's my opinion

right That is what even I fell about these upload I doubt Sankrita Bharati will be happy about this. This is a violation of law unless Sanskrita Bharati New Delhi has authorized this

Dear sunder  Creative common Licensethis applies to Old books not a book published in 1999. One cannot make a copy write books into Creative common license or public domain that much I know. I am for scanning of books for preservation for personal use or to share them publicly. During this process one has to leave the publisher some wheres. It is not because one is giving free books Sanskrit will survive but due to  of authors and publishers. Please respect and care for law rules that is all. If one scans a book printed yesterday and starts giving it away for free today it is going to hurt all and Sanskrit cause will be the biggest looser. (You are not dealing with your book to give it away for free to some one else that the bottom line)

This creative common license has nothing to do with scanning Sanskrit Bhrati's books without their permission.
This would apply if Sanskrit Bharati choose to do this instead of individuals who buy books from them. There is a clear difference.

If Sanskrit Bharati is giving away books for free then its their choice but just because one paid $x to buy a book, the purchaser would not get the rights to distribute the books for free on any public domain. It does not matter what the individuals perception of copy right is. I can scan the book just for my personal use to read on iPad etc but I have no right to make it available to the community for free without their written permission

It should be SB's decision if they want to make their content available online or not, not yours. They're working on meagre donations to produce these books over years of toil.
Please remove them immediately from the upload site.
