Dear All,

I'm in Mumbai this week, staying near the IIT. Can someone direct me
to good Sanskrit bookstores in Mumbai? I can go to the city only on
Saturday.

Thanks in advance,

LNS

Do visit Giri stores in Matunga, (Central Railway) on the road leading from Kings Circle to Matunga Market/Matunga Station.

Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan. It seems they have shifted out of the building at
Chowpatty. Call them up and check (number should be available on their
website).

Sachin

I visited Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Chowpaty in March. Bookstore was very much there. I don't think, it would have moved.

Mention of book on अन्त्येष्टि-विधि:  by Mr. Kamlesh Pathak brings to mind that ज्ञान-प्रबोधिनी have their Mumbai branch somewhere in Ghatkopar. They have a good number of books on different संस्कार-rituals.
