Namaste,

Is there a reliable resource to know the names of big numbers like billion, trillion etc in Sanskrit?
I searched a lot online but the names are all mixed up. Example, one source has nikharva as billion while another source has nikharva as 100 billion.

The attached four scanned pages from Al Biruni's  India, written about a thousand years ago, gives some information. He confirms that the confusion or conflicting names in different schools for a few words were prevalent even during that time.
