I will be much thankful if anybody suggests a good and easy phonetic
keyboard for typing non-unicode sanskrit fonts (preferably shree lipi
fonts). Unicode font is not supported by pagemaker and hence this
request

Thiruthiru,

I do not know about such a software/keyboard. But, there is a Unicode to Shreelipi converter at http://tinyurl.com/6x5zkoj
Please note that I have not tried it. I just came across it in Google search.

regards
shankara

Thanks. But on testing, the converter shows some husky characters when
I tried to convert from unicode Mangal to shree lipi.
Since Vedapad has to be purchased, I shall report afterwards. Thank
you Sri Sundarji and Sri Shankarji

Thiruthiru,

I did not try the Unicode to shreelipi converter. But, I tried the Unicode to Sanskrit 99 converter. It worked perfectly well.
There are different converters on that site for conversion from Unicode to Shreelipi. Did you try them all? I think it will be worth trying.

Another suggestion: You could try using Sanskrit98 or Sanskrit 99 True Type Fonts. They are very beautiful too and will work in Pagemaker. As I said earlier, conversion from Unicode to Sanskrit99 is very easy and without any errors.

shankara

Thanks. but your link leads only to shreelipi converter.
As you said, sanskrit 99 is very compatible with page maker. But the
problem is the printer of our house journal is very particular about
shree lipi only. (as he is accustomed with that font only)
