[Apologies if this question has been asked before.]

I am looking for a PDF copy of Sundara Kanda of the uttara-pATha (to
be more precise, the same as the gitA-press edition). Any help is
appreciated in finding online copies of the same. Also, copies of the
same in regional languages (Telugu and Kannada are appreciated).

The version of Ramayana text followed by Govindaraja and Maheswaratirtha in their commentaries significantly differs from the text printed by Gita Press.I have found that Gitapress version has several errors, which do not occur in the text published by Laxmivenkateswara Press, Kalyan along with the above referred commentaries. Has there been any effort in correcting the Gita Press version? Only some of the errors could be said to be typos.

dhanyaavaadaH Shri Sundar mahodaya,

Both of the versions are closer to the gItA press edition. Thanks to the Baroda Critical edition as well. One of the the sanskrit-docs link takes us to the valmikiramayan.net by (Late) Shri Desiraju Hanumantarao Garu. If my understanding is correct, it is one of the south Indian renditions (paaTha).

dhanyavaadaH Shri Shankara-ji. Thanks for the link. This too is different from the gItA-press edition, but a more critical comparison is needed.

namaste Shri Murty-ji,

Could you please provide some instances of errors from Gita-press book? Also, please point us to some typos as well. I am asking this because many bhakta-s as well as scholars consider this edition to be the quite "standard edition", and I believe this edition is the same as the Nirnaya Sagar edition.

Regarding Ramakrishnaji's query if I could give instances of errors, I have noted down in the margin of the book ( मूलमात्रं of Gita press, edition Vikrama 2020) as and where I noticed an error. I have not listed them and it will take much effort to list them now. I give here just one instance:
BK-sarga32-sloka 7 reads: "अमूर्तरजसो नाम धर्मारण्यं महामतिः".
Kalyan printed version gives, "आधूर्तरजसो राम धर्मारण्यं महीपतिः". This is not a typical example.

Murthy
