The First Canto, consisting of 19 chapters, is covered in a total of 108 classes of one hour each. Each verse is explained by analysing the Sanskrit and referring to the Sanskrit commentaries of Śrīdhara Svāmī and Viśvanātha Cakravartī. The medium of teaching is English.
