Is this a new scan that you want to share. If you have the complete book that would be great
Thanks

The complete book is downloadable in DLI under barcode  1990030102971

It is not the same Edition, but a different old Edition and black and white, and has got Index also.

Sorry it was available in archive.org also. Here is the link to the pdf file:

It is old edition by Gustove Opert and has got a sort of Index of Sanskrit words with meaning in English. Good images files black and white, and some times anusvara and visarga-s may be invisible during the clearing of the images. But the font it too bold to become so invisible.

Sorry my mistake. I was talking to someone about Medhini Kosa and
Vaijayanti Kosa and while writing the email wrongly wrote it.

Unlike Amarakosa I see both medhini and vaijayanti has a lot chapters;
some of them even classifying words as 2 letter words, 3 letter words
etc. I still need to read through the vaijayanti.

Each Lexicon has got its own theme and objective. Almost all follow some common classification subject and topic for synonyms. Here is a link to know the scheme of knowledge presentation in Sanskrit Lexicons:

For your information, मेदिनीकोश and विश्वकोश are नानार्थकोश exclusively in a certain order of alphabets, while नानार्थवर्ग is a section addendum which covers all the classified version and some more for each word, in the same alphabetical order. There may be some more words additional to that of Amara. There is त्रिकाण्डशेष and अमरखण्डन and अमरमण्डन with complement the अमरकोश.

It is better not to rush into any decision on any topic. You can go through the article in the link.

Once you provided us information about अमरखण्डनम् । It was a book difficult to understand, probably because not many MSS of it are available.

What do we know about अमरमण्डनम् ? I heard it's name just now !!

Thank you, Dr Bhat, for providing the book with introduction. I've downloaed it.

It is in reply to the objections raised by Sriharsha in his अमरखण्डन and itself forms a small part of a larger unpublished work dealing with several topics on understanding साहित्य named accordingly साहित्यकल्पलतिका . More details can be procured from the introduction by the Editor of this portion Raghavan itself. It can be downloaded from DLI with the barcode
1990010094437.

I have downloaded it and attaching with this mail. If not possible, it is herewith shared in public in GoogleDrive:

Both provide us ample citations from different lexicographers and wide range of usages not recorded by Amarasimha by way of Khandana and Mandana as the titles themselves suggest.

One more question on the Vaijayanti Kosa, are there any commentaries
on this either in Samskrit or Hindi?

Thanks,
Srikanth.

I have not seen any published. There may or may not be unpublished. As far as I know only Amara has attracted a number of commentaries.
