Namaste

Found something that interests Samskrtam lovers. The Mottos of Indian armed forces in Samskrtam.

The site has given only English spellings. Here I add Samskrtam Devanagari ones too. (Have put question marks where in doubt with words and meanings.)

Interestingly enough, site says- "Many Indonesian Armed Forces' mottoes are taken from Sanskrit language and..."

So one can see them as well on the site. (URL given below)

Collected only Samskrtam ones; (for others (and these with meanings), please visit the site)

(And please ignore if already aware of these. :))

Thankyou

-Usha

<Indian Air Force - "Nabha sparsham Deeptam" - नभस्पर्शं दीप्तम्>

The correct rendering is 'नभ:स्पृशं दीप्तम्' and comes from the Geeta in Ch 11 as

As I remember to have read, this was suggested as a motto to the IAF by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, a former President of India.

Similar corrections are needed in the other quotes.

Namaste,
Yes. There are many mistakes in Samskrtam words wherever we find them in the world in non-Samskrtam fields. It pains a lot.
I did not know how to let those institutions know about these mistakes. English has limited sounds to spell Samskrtam words. But even then some could be corrected easily. Can someone let me know, how to make them aware of this issue? Where to write them?
