namaste!

I have used 'nyUnAtinyUnam' for at-least / in the least.
संपूर्ण-पुस्तकं न पठति चेत् न्यूनातिन्यूनं सारांशं पठतु ।  - If you cannot read the complete book, at-least, read the summary.

आदिनं स्थातुम् अवकाशः नास्ति चेत् न्यूनातिन्यूनं भोजनार्थम् आगच्छतु ।  - If you cannot stay for the entire day, at-least come for a meal.

"I am atleast struggling to complete this " - Sorry, I am not able to get the sense of this sentence.  (Is it to say - "I am at-least struggling to complete this - you have nothing to show for your efforts ..."?  ... )

Rajagopalan,

From the English viewpoint,
“at least”,
designates an amount, quantity, degree, etc. (“at least” - is written as two words).

However, from the way the sentence " I am atleast struggling to complete this" is written, it is not clear just
what it is that is that you wish to designate.

Is It the “struggling”, in which case you would say

" At the very least, it is a struggle, for me to complete this” - carrying the implication that it may even turn out to be too difficult to complete at all.

Or it could be that you wish to align yourself with a group of one or more people, that are actually trying to complete something, - as opposed to those that aren’t even trying?

In which case, you would say something like, “I, at least, am trying to complete this!” - complete with exclamation mark.

I’ll leave the Sanskrit side to others.

Eddie

If you listen to AIR Sanskrit news, "nyUnAnnyUnam" is used (i.e., nyUnAt nyUnam).

It would rather mean "some how or the other"or "anyhow" or "any which way"

Compare:

घटं विन्ध्यात पटं छिंद्यात कुर्याद्रासभ  रोहणम
येन केन प्रकारेण प्रसिद्धः पुरुषो भवेत ||
(Pl excuse the inproper depiction of हलंत ) as there is some problem at my end)
