Dear Zaher,
On behalf of the Ambassador and all of us, thank you so much for coming to our Mission and for your very strong and compelling message. You made a very strong impression on me (as you noticed) and everyone in the room. Your work, and the work of your colleagues inside Syria, are very impressive and courageous. Please convey all of our strong sympathy and support.
I will be happy to consult with Norwegian NGOs and help you explore possibilities for cooperation. I will get back to you.
I hope your son’s graduation went well. Congratulations!
best wishes, HIlde

Dear Hilde
On behalf of the Syrian American Medical Society thank you for the invitation to address the painful issue if targeting healthcare professionals and facilities in Syria.
I hope that these attacks stop one day and that culprits are brought to justice.
Thanks to Norway for its leadership at the humanitarian and human rights levels.
It would be nice if SAMS can be given the opportunity to partner with Norwegian Relief organizations to implement some medical relief projects inside Syria especially supporting Syrian doctors and medical staff or to support primary health and psychosocial programs to Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon.
Please let me know if someone in the Norwegian delegation can facilitate such partnership or connection.
Thank you
Best regards
