Facebook Deleted Us AGAIN

Long Players/Fan Dancers/Sam Phillips Listeners,

I'm sorta grateful that I kept the Google Groups incarnation of our humble little group celebrating the music of Sam Phillips (no matter how sparse the layout is these days) because Facebook has an annual habit of deleting our group once a year. LOL

If any of you are still reading this, PLEASE contact Facebook support and tell them that
http://www.facebook.com/groups/SamPhillips/
is a group for Sam Phillips' fans that has been operating in some incarnation since November 1, 2000 (We turn 15 this year!) and they need to restore the group ASAP.

Thanks for reading this. I TRULY have no clue what the heck is going on!

Garret and fellow Sam Fans,

I wondered why there was no wonderful news and sharing in my linefeed about Sam. Facebook changes things so often I am at many times a loss how to do even simple things lately.

Would you mind providing a contact, or way of contacting Facebook to ask them to re-instate the Facebook group? 

I searched and searched Facebook’s labyrinth of menus and the only “reporting” or “feedback” links lead to links to report abuse of Facebook.

Thanks for doing all this Garret. I am glad there is the backup of the gmail group. 15 years! Scary and exciting at the same time! Lol! But well worth a celebration. :)

While we wait for the group to come back, if you haven't heard... It hasn't been made official, but it appears to be coming from multiple sources... Netflix has signed a deal to have made 4 90 minutes episodes of Gilmore Girls. The most important players have already agreed to return. Hopefully that includes Sam, because it isn't Gilmore Girls without Sam's music.
