Thanks for the link Bruce. Being here in Japan and so unable to see Sam perform live, these links are a heaven send!

"I Don't Want to Fall in Love" is one of my favorites and it is wonderful to see how Sam is recently transforming the sound ... enabling me to reside in a more mature take of the lyrics.

Oh, about a totally different artist ... I know a number on this list, having a discerned taste in music, like the music of Rufus Wainwright. Recently I have stumbled on another artist who has a similar sound as Rufus, Matt Alber. You can check his music out at:

That is exactly what I thought ... though more spooky than scary. My partner was convinced it was Rufus until I showed him the CD and played it the stereo.

To me it is a wonderful, deep album. I look forward to future releases by Matt.
