Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in continuation to our earlier mails and letter regarding VAT deposit. We thank all the customers who have deposited the same.

We are pleased to inform you that the appeal of the company has been accepted by the concerned authority without deposit of any VAT amount. We were under obligation to pay VAT amount based on assessment order by the concerned authorities therefore we had raised demand for VAT deposit. We are pleased to inform you that after a lot of efforts and persuasion and convincing them legally, the concerned authorities has accepted our appeal by submitting corporate guarantees. As a result of the acceptance of appeal, we are not required to deposit VAT immediately.

VAT will be payable by customers upon possession or finalisation of appeal whichever is earlier.

In light of the above developments the company will be refunding the VAT deposit to customers within 30 working days.

Why havent they raised the VAT payment in the form of Demand Letter like previous payments. Its a separate letter. Like a hidden payment. What is the reason behind hiding such payment from other payments made? We should insist on Demand letter being raised.
