I noticed a link to a branch on the Faq page of the website which might/not be ready to use with other libraries and wondered if this code was ready to be used with Zepto (completely removing JQuery)?

I am also interested. Anyone out there?

I asked on Github and unfortunately Sammy is not ready to use with Zepto (only jQuery).

Yes, there doesn't seem to be much of a community behind it. Shame.

There is an alternative called Path.js, which is similar (a lot smaller), might be helpful depending on your needs.

There are plenty of alternatives. There are very few that work as reliably as Sammy. We use previous major version of Sammy on purpose - bug reports stopped. We purposefully stick with the over Sammy despite having a router built into Backbone, which we also use.

In my book, you actually can start using a major version of code when commits to it stop.

@Daniel

I use Path.js in similar way but with Spine.js, it can be useful for page transitions and stuff. Its probably not as reliable as Sammy but its a tiny/independent library which is perfect for a lot of trivial needs.

Maybe you could name some of the alternatives as I have never really looked beyond Path?
