Benchmark relative to Picard MarkDuplicates

Hi there,

I was wondering if you could provide more detail about the speed increases relative to MarkDuplicates from the Picard software for the markdup command. Is it only faster if you add threads, and does it require more memory than the Picard version?  I appreciate your help in this!
