I'm running on a 2016 MacBook Pro, and tried to install via the stable release. While I can download and unpack the tarball successfully, I get an error when I try to run the file. In other words, when I run "./sambamba_v0.6.6", I receive the following error message: "

-bash: ./sambamba_v0.6.6: cannot execute binary file."

I also tried to install the latest pre-release, but when I ran the installer, I received an error saying that that I cannot execute binary file for ruby, followed by an undefined error for ruby. I un/reinstalled ruby but it did not change anything. I saw another thread that was similar to this, and ran "./install.sh ~/sambamba-install -v -d -d --force" which resulted in the following error messages (same as earlier):

./installer/bin/traveling-ruby-20141215-2.1.5-linux-x86_64/bin/ruby: line 6: /Users/usrnm/hb13hjys1064jmb6z17yc1f822hv9zsz-sambamba-0.6.7-pre1-7cff065-x86_64/installer/bin/traveling-ruby-20141215-2.1.5-linux-x86_64/bin.real/ruby: cannot execute binary file

./installer/bin/traveling-ruby-20141215-2.1.5-linux-x86_64/bin/ruby: line 6: /Users/usrnm/hb13hjys1064jmb6z17yc1f822hv9zsz-sambamba-0.6.7-pre1-7cff065-x86_64/installer/bin/traveling-ruby-20141215-2.1.5-linux-x86_64/bin.real/ruby: Undefined error: 0

Done

Am I missing some other software necessary to install this or am I just doing something wrong?

Yes, sorry. The binary is for Linux only. I hope you can run Linux
somewhere. On Mac you can do it in a VM.

I hope someone will make a Mac version available. Be interesting to
know how many Mac users are out there.
