Dear Friends of Samavesha:
We are back! Hope you enjoyed the summer and are excited about a new season of music from our talented and soulful musicians.
The bad news is that over the summer Samavesha Space has been shut down. We ran into problems with Contra Costa Building Inspectors because of zoning issues and are no longer going to host events at the Richmond location. Sad but true. Those of you that have had a chance to come to events at Samavesha Space, you are well aware of what a great time we had and how magic and intimate the space was for our gatherings.
We are taking this opportunity to evolve our collaborations and shows to the next level and explore other environments. We are already in contact with various theaters and spaces and will be emailing you shortly with event info for the fall.
In the meantime, we thought we would reach out to you, our community, for suggestions on possible event spaces, homes that do home concerts, places to hold workshops, etc. We know many of you are connected to the world of the arts and we are relatively new to the area, so please help us find new venues and contacts for Samavesha to keep spreading the beauty.
