Beautiful sunny friends of Samavesha:
Still a few days left before this weekend's celebration of the Sun's journey northward. Thanks to all that replied with your suggestions and participation. We are still accepting proposals for the open mic part of the afternoon. We wanted to remind you that any contribution (a story, your grandmother's recipe, your favorite t-shirt, or a karate move, the list is infinite) is welcome and a source of sharing as we create light and we accompany the Sun along its cycle.
The plan is the following:
3 - 4:30pm Open mic for different expressions of art.
4:30 - 5pm Intermission
5 - 6:30pm Open mic with selected Samavesha artists.
This will be an early evening, so come out and celebrate with us early...
If you are part of the Open mic, please arrive early if you can so we can get you all set up.
Even if you are not participating in the performance part of the event, we look forward to seeing you and celebrating with you. Bring your friends.
If you are a visual artist and would like to do something with the space or exhibit your work, email us your plans.
The latter part of the evening is going to be a musical offering to you from Samavesha artists.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT. There will be no money exchanged. But there will be treats! If you care to bring something to eat and drink to share, you are very welcome to.
