Dear well wishers;

I am very much pleased to inform you that Ganesh Secondary School
recently celebrated its 28th years of completion from 1st Jan - 4th
Jan, 2009. More than 800 people including guests, parents and students
participated in this grand ceremony. The guests were the young
scientist from NAST, district officials, teacher union, ex-students,
individual donors, parents and students.

This four day long ceremony including extra curricular activities like
running, volleyball, poetry contest, free speech contest, honor to
individual donors and closing ceremony.

The school also presented its progress report and financial report
starting from 1st Baisakh to Poush, 2065. The school has build 1
buildings with 4 rooms. It also applied english medium for teaching
upto grade 5. It also has a computer lab and library. School has
applied grade teaching and has made school child friendly. The class
room setting are equiped with low height tables, coushion, carpet,
message painting, playing materials, book corners and rack for keeping
shoes. Students have respect for each other. The financial transaction
of this 9 months was 200000.00.

The school has brouhg many changes during these years. One of the
major change I experienced was the fearless school environment. The
students do not hasitate to speak to new comers. The grade one
students also put their demand boldly and they are expressive.

The school is also developing as a learning resource center. During
this occassion a young scientist Mr. Sagar Sapkota who is also working
as a research assistant in NAST, (RONAST called previously) also paid
a visit and demonstrated his "school engineering" concepts and
experimented few of his research. Mr Om Shrestha who is a science
teacher also demonstrated his experiment. These experiments were
highly appreciated by students of grade nine and ten as well science
teachers.

There are many helping hands to bring Ganesh School at this stage. The
district education office, individual donors, academicians, young
scientist, teachers, parents, teachers, ex-students, developmet
organization have played vital role. The school would like to express
its gratitude to all.

"Quality Education is possible in Public School".
