When you show up at a Prerelease you will be given the opportunity to play with the newest cards in the following formats:

Sealed Deck: Each player receives three Scars of Mirrodin and three New Phyrexia booster packs to use for building a deck.

*Important Change*- Players on a Two-Headed Giant team now share poison counters in much the same way they do a life total. A team that has 15 poison counters loses the game.

Booster Draft: Players participating in a booster draft event should each receive one New Phyrexia, one Mirrodin Besieged, and one Scars of Mirrodin booster pack to draft with.

*IMPORTANT CHANGE*: Beginning with Mirrodin Besieged, booster drafts will now begin with the most recent set and go backwards. For example, if you ran an event with one booster of each set in the Scars of Mirrodin block, you will now open the packs as follows: New Phyrexia – Mirrodin Besieged –Scars of Mirrodin.
