Samadhi V is having a slower day today including some motoring and some rain squalls in light wind.
The light winds encountered today are not associated with the northeast Pacific high pressure area which they are trying to pass north of, but are merely a small patch of light winds about 500 nm southwest of the NEPHPA.  The new planned track to pass north of the NEPHPA is shown in orange.
Two new tropical storms have appeared in the Pacific which are a couple thousand miles away from Samadhi and are not expected to be a factor in their passage to California although these storms would have been a factor in the passage from Costa Rica if they were doing that voyage in late summer.
Best regards,
Pat
