Another good day of sailing finds Samadhi V making great progress pretty much as planned and hoped.  

The northeast Pacific high pressure area (NEPHPA) moved about a degree further north and a little west today, so they may well continue far enough north to get around it.  Then, probably on Day 7, they plan to turn to the east towards California.  If they encounter the NEPHPA before getting north of it, my understanding is that they will just motor through it to the east where they should then find good winds out of the north.

My apologies for being late with the chart today -- Kathy and I flew to Campbell River on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
