System efficiency

Hai there.

Referring to your post based on calculating the system's efficiency,
could you please explain more which global radiation is used to
calculate this system efficiency. As for PV, I do not understand why I
have a massive values for efficiency when I calculated net electrical
output/global radiation. Correct me if Im wrong because I might
confuse myself.

Dear Nurul,

Could you explain in more detail what you mean by "massive values for
efficiency?"

SAM calculates the total radiation incident on the array for each hour
of the year based on solar radiation data in the weather file and the
solar incidence angle. SAM determines the solar incidence angle from
the time of day, latitude, longitude, and time zone values in the
weather file, and from information about the array's position that you
specify on the Array page.
