a problem with git submodule update --init --recursive

Hi there!
I was trying to reinstall salvus. I got to the command (git submodule update --init --recursive) and it asked me to enter a username and password for gitlab. I do have an exist account with them (I still can log in on their website). I have no idea why it doesn't allow me to install it.
