Queridos entusiastas de la música latina:

Music all day long. That's what you have this Sunday from 1pm into the night all over Carrboro. We'll be tappin' out some 2/3 clave in Tyler's parking lot starting at 8. It seems to be a great place to dance, because the past few years people have flocked there to see us as the sun sets. Once again it looks as though the weather will be amazing.

Incidentally, earlier in the day you can catch various of us at other venues in town. Most of us will also be with Erich's other band, One Sun @ 2pm in the Century Center. That show will feature some jazzy Latin music, but also other upbeat world and local styles. At 3:45 Erich will direct the Emerson Waldorf School Jazz Band at the Fitch Lumber stage. That band is comprised of about a dozen talented kids grades 6 to 9. Pablo will play with Drew at Milltown starting at 4pm - acoustic Latin. Then at 6 Robert plays percussion with the Tim Smith Band at the Town Commons for some original world soul music. So - you could fill the entire day with Saludos Compay musicians performing all kinds of internationally flavored music!
