Jinja Templates Dropping Trailing Newline?

It looks to me like templating a file with Jinja is dropping the
trailing newline from the file. I noticed this because minicom will
hang if there isn't a trailing newline at the end of the file. Other
whitespace doesn't seem to be touched, just the trailing newline. I
looked at the code a little but couldn't see where this might be
happening.

What version are you using? I think this got fixed in git.

That would suggest that it is not fixed, I will file an issue so we can look into this, thanks for the find!
