Appen to file, plus set mode in a state

  Hello,

Can somebody tell me, how to use file.append state, and manage the file permissions (but not the contents!) at the same time?

My problem is that file.append does not have a mode parameter, and there is no "file.mode" function in the file state module.

I could use cmd.run to set file permissions, but that is clumsy. It would also always "change state", even if it really does not change anything.
