We are running some maintenance on jenkins.saltstack.com, it will be back up in a half hour or so.

Hi Thomas,
I suggest you to try Jenkins Long-Term Support release (instead of latest-and-greatest version that can be unstable due to short release cycle).

Heh, yes :)
the problem had nothing to do with the short term release but was with some files on the server that needed cleaning up. We have since changed the config to keep the builds clean.

I've being overzealous, then (I'm religious a bit when it comes to Jenkins, that tool IS a cornerstone for our Java shop).
Kudos for Salt, we will surely give it a try !

Heh, no worries, Jenkins is complex enough that it is easy to miss the occasional setting, it can take a little while to grow into a Jenkins install :)
