I am really bummed that I am missing this Linux Fest, but too much has been going on for me to make it. But there is a Salt talk I wanted to point out to those attending:

http://linuxfestnorthwest.org/session/asalting-your-computers

If anyone here makes it to LinuxFest NorthWest, let us know how it goes! Hopefully we will have a presence there next year!

I will be at the UTOS conference and giving one of the 3 Salt talks there. We keep moving forward!

Here are the slides from the presentation:
http://www.adminknowledge.com/2012/05/linuxfest-northwest-2012.html.
There was a fairly good turn out to the talk. 2 people had heard of
Salt but nobody had used it.

To bad UTOS is so close to LFNW otherwise I would be there.

If anybody attended my talk, introduce yourself to me please.

Thanks,
_

These slides are killer! I am also very excited that 1 thing you say we don't have yet we now have! Since the 'dry-run' capability is now in 0.9.9!

Thanks for giving the presentation, I am going to link your slides from the .org

Tomas,

I saw the 0.9.9 release email and almost updated my slides but ran out
of time :)

Thanks,
