install 5 node hadoop cluster using salt

Hi,

I have not played with salt yet. I have been following it. I have no rush to get started, but I am

curious. How hard is it to setup a 5 node hadoop cluster (1 master + 4 slave nodes) with salt in 

ubuntu 12.04? I am aware of the cloudera manager free version that let you do that as well, but 

the management software is proprietary.

Hi Asif,

I don't know for sure, I have not done very much with Hadoop, but I suspect it would not be too difficult. I know a friend of mine was going to post a howto on it but I have not heard from him for a while.
