Let's just make a list, and have it for reference. Add things when you
think of 'em.

Leaders learning how to do an real prep so that the followers can spin
better.
Today i had a horrible experience prepping and it made me realize we
don't really go over this important step.

Good one Alex. I am alway pondering about how can we improve the spin-
preps. We have always talked about flexible holdings and all, but I
think that preparing the "twist" is never mentioned. When you want to
lead multiple spins, you have to remember to help the followers on
their "twists", so they will have enough strength to complete multiple
turns (mostly outside turns, inside turns are prep via CBL).

On the other note, both leaders and followers have to turn spinning
techniques (have been working on that in my private classes),
especially the twists and spotting.

I also feel like lots of leaders are the most vulnerable when the
spins are done. Leaders are either thinking about the next move or
jumping in joy after they led multiple turns. Regardless what are on
leaders' minds, the transition often look very awkward. We have to
work on that.

I will add one more thing - the basic body movements. Individually, I
work isolations for about 10-15 minutes and warm-up (steps+spins) for
another 15 minutes for my classes. The isolation should be a major
focus of the warm up, since none of us move like Cubans. With
partners, I feel like lots of dance partners don't move together. I
have been trying to force people to dance in Bachata Close Position,
so two people can move together....

Any other thoughts?
