places to go out dancing in Geneva

Hi all,

 

I was told that there is salsa dancing every Sunday from 7pm onwards at the Parc des Bastions. If the weather is fine, the dancing is on the chess-players space and if it rains, in the Kiosque des Bastions.

Apparently there are few dancers before 8 pm then it gets crowded.

Please note I have not been able to check this information but this was explained to me by someone who had gone there.

Does anyone want to give it a go next Sunday?

 

Salseros de Hoy website (http://www.salsa-geneve.com/) advertises they will organise open air salsa dancing on Aug 18, 8pm at Jardin Anglais.

 

Rock'n roll news:

There will be plenty of rock concerts at Jardin Anglais starting this Saturday July 28 (7pm) throughout the Fêtes de Genève (up to Aug 12), other interesting concerts at Baby Plage. Of course, no-one ever dances, but if we can create a small group of rock dancers, we can create our own dancing ballroom space.

Please tell me if you are interested!

Aug 8: ROCK

Aug 9: Star Club and Ledge dance schools (does anyone know their style ?)
