Rock climbing...

Dear Jayers...

At first, I wanted to send this email out privately, but then realised that I dont know some peoples addresses, so decided to make it general.

Was speaking to a few jayers last last week, and some expressed an interest in trying out indoor gym rock-climbing. 
Those that expressed interest are so far
1) Wee
2) Joyce
3) Kelly
4) Steph
5) Rachel
6) Lena
and yours truly...

Notice how they are all girls...  Bhwa hwa hwa hwa....

But seriously, any guys interested?  Are the girls still interested since that little chat last last week?

If people still want to, then lets do something.  This Saturday.  Lets hit the gym either at Summit, or 1U. 

The gym in Summit is cheaper, around 10 bucks per entry.  The one in 1U is a little pricier at around 20 bucks per entry.  However, the facilities in 1U are way way way better.

So, whos in and whos out?

I have a wedding lunch to attend on Saturday, so if we make it at around say, 3pm onwards?  After that we can do dinner there.
Bring a change of clothes, because they have very interesting shower facilities.

For those who have no clue about climbing...
Please wear pants, or shorts (but not super short shorts).
Normal tshirt will do.

Footwear can be anything, because you will be renting the climbing shoes from them.  Bring socks if you dont feel comfortable with rental footwear right against your skin.  Climbing with sneakers is quite dangerous.  Climbing with slippers is insane.

So its ON tomorrow!

3pm, meet in 1U, in front of Celebrity Fitness. Dont worry, when I say "gym" climbing, I dont mean celebrity fitness.
The place is called Camp 5, and its located on the 5th floor.  If you take the lift in front what used to be called "Long John Silver" restaurant, go to 5th floor, and you will exit right in front of Camp 5.

If you are late, and we have already gone upstairs, then just call me at
0122170470
if you cant find your way to the gym.

I have also managed to rope in another of my friends to assist in the belaying duties.  And I am sure that Lena still remembers how to as well, so it would be a good mix of belayers and climbers methinks.  (Always more climbers than belayers... just like salsa: always more women than men)

Remember, bring a change of clothes so you can shower and freshen up after climbing... you WILL end up sweaty and shaking!

Then after that we can decide where to makan.
